OBJECTIVE

The project stems from the need to safely and efficiently handle large bags, up to a maximum height of 2 metres and weighing up to 2,000 kg, containing whey and milk powder.

BENEFITS

• This system has been designed to minimise physical effort on the part of operators and ensure rapid and precise positioning above the discharge opening.
• The operator opens the big bag inside a special tank that prevents dust from dispersing into the environment and ensures maximum safety for the operator.
• To facilitate complete emptying of the material, even in the presence of compaction or agglomerates, the station is equipped with pneumatic activators (petals) that exert precise pressure on the four corners of the bag, facilitating the descent of the product into the collection hopper.
